Privacy policy

Western Tamp — a trading name of APX Studios Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales — is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This policy explains how we handle it under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Order & delivery details — name, email, delivery address, phone number and order contents. Payment is taken by Shopify’s checkout; we never see or store your full card number.
• Account / marketing — your email address if you sign up to our newsletter (“The Dispatch”).
• Usage data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics about how the site is used (pages viewed, device type), to help us improve it.

How we use it

• To take payment and fulfil and deliver your order.
• To send order updates and respond to your enquiries.
• To send marketing emails only if you opt in — you can unsubscribe any time.
• To run and improve the website.

Our lawful bases

We process your data to perform our contract with you (taking and fulfilling orders), with your consent (marketing emails and optional analytics), for our legitimate interests (running, securing and improving the shop), and to meet legal obligations (such as tax records).

Who we share it with

We share only what’s necessary, with trusted processors:

• Shopify — our store and checkout platform.
• Limini Coffee — our roaster, who fulfil and dispatch your order under our label.
• DPD — for delivery and tracking.
• Klaviyo — email marketing, only if you opt in to the newsletter.
• A privacy-respecting analytics provider, loaded only with your consent.

We don’t sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside the UK/EU under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and meet legal and tax obligations (typically six years for financial records), and marketing data until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, object to or restrict its use, or request a copy to take elsewhere. To do any of these, email hello@westerntamp.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
